korea invasion in a good way

So much has been said of the Korean Invasion here in Davao. but there is another invasion that seems to be welcomed by foodies in the city. there are now a big number of Korean restaurants and one that I have been frequenting is KORE TOWN. This is a barbecue place and there are also many different dishes being offered. If you order two barbecues they will light up the grill on the table for you to do the grilling yourself. first they will give you an array of appetizers or acompanyments to your barbecue. The ever present kimchi that comes in many kinds like the standard cabbage kimchi and others such as those made of raddishes and carrots, there are also some sauteed spinach and bean sprouts as well as omelets and other type of pickle. You can choose a variety of meats such as beef, chicken as well as pork. the bibimpap is very good as well as the ox tail soup. I haven't tried many as the beef is my favorite. Choose to eat at the no smoking section where it is quiet. the service is very attentive and friendly. I have notice that the prices have gone up quite a bit and this makes my visit to the place much nor far apart. There is another good Korean restaurant at the Apo View Hotel but the prices are just too expensive. one may think that this is done to exclude most filipinos from the place as many Koreans hang out in the Hotel.
